"Als het om de liefde gaat" ("When it's all about love") was the Dutch entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972, performed in Dutch by the duo Sandra & Andres, Sandra Reemer and Dries Holten. The song is a duet, with the singers making a series of attempts at chatting each other up. They explain their difficulties by saying that it is difficult enough to be honest in general life, let alone when "making a pass". Sandra & Andres also recorded the song in English (as "What Do I Do?"), German ("Was soll ich tun?") and French ("C'est pour demain"). The song was performed eighteenth on the night, following Luxembourg's Vicky Leandros with "Après toi". By the close of voting, it had received 106 points, placing it 4th in a field of 18. It was succeeded as Dutch representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 by Ben Cramer with "De oude muzikant". Sandra Reemer returned to the Contest as a solo artist in 1976 with "The Party's Over" and again in 1979 with "Colorado", then as the front figure of the band Xandra. In last second of the performing of this song did the audience clapped in rhythm, and the audience clap a lot more for that performing than another songs. That was the first time in The ESC history when audience clap at the same time and song is performed ==References and external links== * (Official Eurovision Song Contest site, history by year, 1972 ) * (Detailed info and lyrics, Diggiloo Thrush, "Als het om de liefde gaat" ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Als het om de liefde gaat」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
